I had two adolescent children and a supportive husband. Sunday night at our house was homework for all around the dining room table. The drive and tenacity that gave me the energy to do that didn’t stop when I graduated. After a few fruitful years at TRC, I left to learn the client side of the business and then left that to start a business. Those experiences away from TRC taught me a great deal about how research can drive great business decisions, but I realized that I really missed the puzzles. Coming back to TRC allows me to apply my tenacity to the variety of business challenges that our clients face. Best of all, I’ve got a great team to collaborate with in helping to solve our clients ‘puzzles’. When I am not working I enjoy the quieter side of life. I love reading, especially mysteries (get the puzzle connection), and stories that have lots of twists and turns. I enjoy cooking when I can fully concentrate on it, but not when I am feeling rushed. I also love gardening, long walks on the beach, and spending time with family and friends. I got hooked on research while in college. I’ve always loved solving puzzles and that is exactly what I saw market research as. With the help of one of my professors I landed an internship at TRC and ultimately started my career here. Sounds pretty conventional right? Well, not quite.
