Rich Raquet, President and Founder

richI’m going to be honest. I didn’t grow up dreaming of becoming a Market Researcher. With the heavy influence of my father (a computer guy) and the moon missions, I wanted to be an Engineer. As I saw it, Engineers solved complicated problems using their knowledge and creativity. So I started my education, at Drexel University, studying

Rajan Sambandam, Chief Research Officer

rajMy primary job is to oversee research activities at TRC. Ergo, I’m usually involved in the design and statistical analysis of pretty much every project that goes through the shop. I can honestly claim to have spent many years grappling with data searching for insight. In my time here I have worked with more companies than I can recall, many of which are household names.

Ed Olesky, Chief Operating Officer

edI started my career in Market Research while I was in college way back in 1980 with a part-time job as a telephone interviewer. From there I worked in Sampling, Coding, Spec Writing and CATI Programming.

Pankaj Kumar, Ph.D., Executive VPpankaj3

I started out as a mechanical engineer -dealing with machines and, by definition, focusing entirely on producing tangible and practical results. Machines were fun, but a certain wanderlust prompted me to explore the business side of things; to Marketing, and to dealing with people and uncertainty.

Michael Sosnowski, Senior Vice President

mike2I went to college to study Art History – the perfect training regimen for a career in market research. Seriously – spend enough time in a dark room, breaking down slides of 14th century Proto-Renaissance masters, and you acquire more than scary-good night vision. You become comfortable with analysis, and writing (lots of writing).

Bob Hull, Vice President
bobIt all started with an ill-advised effort to ride a Honda ATC at age 16. Thirty seconds after my initial go at it, I slammed into a tree and broke my hip. Ouch! Still, as a teenager I needed money, i.e. a job. One where I did not need have to stand up or walk around.

Jennifer Van de Meulebroecke, Vice President

jen3My desire to be in market research started spring of my senior year in college when I realized my summer jobs and various internships, including Yankelovich, were all connected to the industry;

Maynard Robison, Director of Insurance Research

maynardMy market research path began at John Hancock Life Insurance, Prudential, and AFLAC, after which I began to work on the research supplier side. Most of my clients are in insurance and other financial services.

Janice Morrison, Director

janiceI got hooked on research while in college. I’ve always loved solving puzzles and that is exactly  what I saw market research as. With the help of one of my professors I landed an internship at TRC and ultimately started my career here. Sounds pretty conventional right? Well, not quite. I was an unconventional student…
